3. Translation task: English to Japanese passage about music habits (daily listening, studying with Japanese songs, love for music festivals, past overseas experience with friends and bands)

4. Writing guidelines: appropriate register required (familiar vs. formal), specific character counts (Q1: \\~160–180, Q2: \\~260–300, Q3: open), clear structuring of ideas and justified opinions

5. Paper structure: three tasks total—choose one from Q1 (informal), one from Q2 (formal), and complete Q3 (translation); total 60 marks

6. Cultural and thematic focus: music, school life, travel, dining, career planning, role models, personal identity, global experiences—tested via productive written expression in authentic contexts
