Section B comparative essay based on chosen theme, excluding coursework texts, focusing on literary interpretation, structure, and genre awareness 4. Contextual relevance, narrative tone, personal reflection, ideological stance, and cultural commentary embedded in prose evaluation 5. Paper structure designed to assess analytical depth, cross-textual comparison, and ability to interpret literary form and meaning under thematic constraints 6. Total 50 marks, with 20 marks for Section A unseen analysis and 30 marks for Section B comparative response using prescribed texts
