3. Section C film analysis: 千と千尋の神隠し (symbolism of water, Chihiro’s character growth), ディア・ドクター (themes through characters, balancing light and dark life aspects), 誰も知らない (external world’s significance, comparing Akira vs. Kyoko′s responsibility)

4. Two essays required (Section B and/or C), 600–700 characters each in Japanese, focusing on textual analysis and personal reasoning with examples

5. Total 110 marks: Section A translation (20), Section B and/or C essays (45 marks each), no dictionaries or texts allowed during the exam
