1. Section A: Reading comprehension (30 marks), includes sentence completion, multiple-choice, short-answer questions based on texts about brain health, freelancing youth, scented candles, and Shibam city architecture.
2. Section B: Grammar section (20 marks), sentence transformation using given words, verb and noun agreement, nominal sentence manipulation, prepositions, tense consistency, tashkeel application, and cloze grammar test.
3. Section C: Writing task (30 marks), proposal essay (240–280 words) on sustainable projects for the poor, includes detailing the idea, funding strategy, benefits, and sustainability plan.
4. Key themes: mental acuity and aging, freelance economy for graduates, benefits of aromatherapy, ancient Yemeni architecture (Shibam), self-reliance in poverty reduction.
5. Linguistic focus: Modern Standard Arabic structure, accurate grammar use, stylistic clarity, idiomatic expressions, coherent argumentative writing.
6. Exam format: 80 marks total, duration 2 hours 30 minutes, all answers to be written in the booklet, marked by structure, relevance, language accuracy, and content depth.
