You will need: a clock - a sunny day

Find the Sun in the sky but do not look straight at it.
Draw a picture to show where it is and write down the time.
Do this at different times in the day.

* Safety: Never look straight at the Sun. It can damage your eyes.

The Sun looks as though it moves across the sky because the Earth spins. Places move from night to day and from day to night. When you are standing on the Earth, it looks like the Sun is moving.
