Let’s Investigate!

Question: What living things can we find?

You will need: paper, a pencil, a clipboard or thick card to rest on, a digital camera.

Safety First:

  • Be careful in case there are plants or animals that are prickly.
  • Watch out for animals that may sting or bite.

Method:

  1. Go outside to look for living things.
  2. Try to find four living things.
  3. Draw and photograph some living things.

Think about it:

What is the largest living thing you can find?
What is the smallest living thing you can find?
